Music That Feels Good

What I love about these videos is they are so naked.
What you're hearing is good- it's there, and it is all that it is.
A single take, live recording in the back of a cab.
I love this website. I wish I had come up with the concept myself- Nothing is better than music at it's rawest.
The cinematography is pretty nice too.

I must've listened to these two clips 8 or 9 times.

I Blame Coco: NEVER heard of this artist before. It's different and happy. I like it. Check out the drumming on the inside of the car door. Oh yeah and the Mexican yelp at the breakdown reminds me of my folklorico days.

Lissie: We shot Lissie a few years ago at Vlaze, but I was reintroduced to her by my sister- we saw her in LA recently. Lissie is an amazing musician. I love her raspy voice and folksy style that's so current. She's so unexpected. Her musicians aren't bad either. Great music. She covers a song by Lionel Richie here.

Browse the site for some other great clips- My Morning Jacket is excellent... I'd suggest you just click on something at random. Let yourself be pleasantly surprised like I was. Mmmm... music is like an ice cream sundae... delicious and indulgent.
